Pet Passport

An official booklet that records your pet's identity and health status so you can travel abroad with them.

  • Who it's for: Cats, dogs, and ferrets traveling with their owners.
  • What's included: Microchip/identification details, rabies vaccination, and any required boosters.
  • Validity: Matches the validity of the recorded vaccinations; keep it updated before each trip.

Requirements

  • Pet microchip number that meets ISO standards
  • Current rabies vaccination certificate
  • Vet-completed health check within the timeframe required by your destination country
  • Owner identification (national ID or passport)

How to apply

  1. Sign in to ePortal.
  2. Start the Pet Passport request under Travel Documents.
  3. Upload your pet's vaccination and microchip proof.
  4. Book a veterinary verification appointment if prompted.
  5. Pay the issuance fee and choose your collection method.

Processing time: 5-7 business days after documentation is verified.

Collecting your document

  • Digital delivery: Downloadable PDF once approved.
  • In-person collection: Pick up printed booklets from the Citizen Service Center or have them shipped to your address.
  • Updates: Keep your pet's vaccinations current before each trip.
