Grants of Arms

The Grants of Arms section processes petitions for new grants of armorial bearings to eligible citizens and institutions of the Principality.

Responsibilities​

  • Processing of petitions for grants of arms
  • Assessment of eligibility and entitlement
  • Coordination with heraldic designers
  • Preparation of Letters Patent
  • Presentation of grants to recipients
  • Recording of grants in the Roll of Arms

Eligibility​

Grants of arms may be made to:

  • Citizens of the Principality of Kaharagia
  • Corporate bodies and institutions
  • Other persons or bodies as determined by the Institute

Those wishing to petition for a grant of arms should contact the Institute of Heraldry to discuss eligibility and the application process.
